Stainless steel is a type of metal product that is more resistant to rust, staining and corrosion than regular steel. It is an alloy of iron and carbon. Stainless steel is often found in materials used in construction and tools.

Stainless steel is not a single alloy, but a part of a large family of alloys with different properties for each member. The stainless steel family is quite large and specialized. There are hundreds of grades and sub grades, and each is designed for a special application.

Chromium is the magic element. Stainless steel must contain at least 10.5% chromium to provide adequate resistance to rusting. And, the more chromium the alloy contains, the better the corrosion resistance. However, it is important to remember there is an upper limit to the amount of chromium the iron can hold. Because of this, additional alloying elements are necessary to develop corrosion resistance to specific medias.

There are many uses for stainless steel case but I think the most common reason for using it is its corrosion resistance. Stainless steel is incredibly resistant to oxidization and has a protective layer that can actually regrow if damaged.

Pressure gauge is an instrument used to measure or display pressure. Generally it displays pressure in Bar(Unit of Pressure). A pressure gauge, as with any measuring device, is only necessary when you need to measure pressure. It's commonly used in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Pharma and many more industries.

The case for pressure gauge is always made by stainless steel. Stainless steel means stain-less means barrier from corrosion not free from corrosion.
