Pressure gauges are not new to us. Knowing that pressure gauges are a common type in the current industrial process and scientific research field, they are used to display the pressure changes of various process links, and are used to monitor the safety of production and operation. Earlier, we introduced some failure phenomena of the pressure gauge. We know that in the daily use and maintenance of the pressure gauge, there will be failure phenomena such as the force gauge pointer does not return to zero, the firmware is loose, and the spring tube is deformed. In order to avoid the occurrence of fault phenomena as much as possible, we should often debug the pressure gauge. Below, I will introduce to you how to debug the pressure gauge.
Install the pressure gauge on the pressure calibrator, and connect the variable resistor attached to the ohm meter to the ohm file of the ohm meter or multimeter. Then, the pressure indication value of the pressure gauge shall be verified in the forward direction (boost) and reverse direction (depressurization) respectively, and the indication error shall meet the requirements of the verification regulations. While verifying the pressure indication, observe the change of the variable resistance value on the ohm meter of the ohmmeter or multimeter. When observing, pay attention to the output of the resistance value before reading. The change in resistance is the same as the change in pressure indication, it should be linear, and pay attention to its continuity. At the upper and lower limits of the pressure indication, it should be noted whether the variable resistor is within the effective working range, otherwise it needs to be adjusted by changing the contact sheet and other methods.
It should be checked whether the conductive performance between the moving contact of the variable resistor and the winding resistance is good, because it directly relates to the function of the connected line. First check the contact pressure between the moving contact piece and the winding resistance. It should not be too small, that is, the two should not be too loose. If the contact is too loose, it should be adjusted by changing the shape of the moving contact piece. Then check the contact pressure between the moving contact piece and the winding resistance. It should not be too large, that is, the two should not be too tight. If the contact is too tight, the electric contact layer of the moving contact piece can be cleaned with cotton fiber dipped in alcohol. In addition, increasing the contact pressure can also reduce the contact resistance relatively.
The geometry and raw material performance of the variable resistor moving contact piece attached to the fan-shaped wheel of the remote transmission pressure gauge should meet the requirements for easy adjustment. Otherwise, on the one hand, it will affect the conductivity between it and the winding resistance; on the other hand, it is easy to make the moving contact slide out of the effective working range of the winding resistance, thereby causing the disconnection of the line connected by the variable resistor.
